IT'S OFFICIAL!
We have been accepted as an official USA Weightlifting club (club #1416). USA Weightlifting (USAW) is the National Governing Body (NGB) for Olympic weightlifting in the United States. USAW is a member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and a member of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF). As the NGB, USAW is responsible for conducting Olympic weightlifting programs throughout the country. Top competitors are selected by USAW to compete in all major international events such as the Olympic Games, World Championships, World Junior Championships and Pan American Games. USA Weightlifting is working to become an international power competitively, as well as trying to broaden young athletes' knowledge of the sport in the United States. We invite you to join our team!
Hey Mike, JB, Juan, and Donna - Congrats on being accepted as a USAW Weightlifting Club. The knee is getting to the point where I can squat again, therefore, I will definitely visit your outstanding facility to catch an Oly day.
